So I got to try out my lovely new pink buddy this weekend and she is FABULOUS! Love her! After I scrounged around for some batteries..which I stole from the Tv remote and may have forgotten to put back before Anthony got home and wondered where the hell the batteries went, I finally went to work. First I put my gems down in my design on my paper. Then I turned her on and held the button down for 15 seconds to get her to the right temperature. Then I put the tip of the I-rock on to the top of the gem and held for about 10 seconds. I noticed that obviously the bigger the gem you are using the longer you need to hold it down for. Also if you are using it on top of chipboard it seemed to take longer no matter what the size. I continued doing this until my design was completely secured. I really don't feel like it was that time consuming. It takes longer to stitch things so I thought it was a great new way to bling up my page. I'll post my layout on here after I take a picture of it tonight!

There seems to be a lot of death and sickness going along lately. Early this week I found out one of my residents passed away. Then Anthony's cousin was told he has a very short time to live due to cancer. And today I received an email from our corporate office that one of our employees will not be returning and is only expected to live for a year at most. Makes you think...:( Also makes me want to scrap all my memories :)

On a brighter note, Nicole is coming over tomorrow for a Scrappy Saturday and Susie is coming over next Saturday for some more scrappiness. I bought the I-rock yesterday! Super excited to try her out tomorrow. Don't worry, when I finish my layouts I will definitely post :) P.S. I did these two last year for my friend Amber's Wedding. I just found them today and thought I'd post.

So..I've been definitely slackin on this whole bloggin' thing..you know just about a year behind. But I won't bore you with what has gone on over the past year. Looking at my friend Kelly's blog lately has made me feel like I need to blog about my scrappiness. So I am starting.

I'm also obssessed with the new Cricut Imagine that is coming out. It looks fabulous..though I'm not sure how I can afford it..but I will think of something :)

I decided to steal this idea from a few friends on blogger and do a list of the ABC's of me. So here goes...

A- Anthony, my boyfriend, love him dearly
B- Bingo! We love going to big top bingo with all the old foagies and see if we can win anything
C- Cricut...I love listening to them chirp all day long....and not the kind with the legs
D- Doggies! I want two dogs. One name Gus, who will be a basset hound, and the other named Ralph, and he will be a miniature dachsund!
E- Eggs....hate em...I don't know why but I despise eggs.

Q- Questions. I'm a questioner. I like asking questions and finding out as much as I can...especially when it comes to work...usually comes in handy to at least sound like you know what you are doing sometimes!

T- Teaching. I love teaching others..whether it be work, school, or new scrapbooking techniques, I love teaching and learning from different people.

New Purchases!

So I'm sniffing around ebay today..which was my first problem, and I found the Cricut Design Studio that was being bid on that only had 30 sec left and it was at $35....so I put in a bid for $37 and won!! I've never really researched into the design studio but I had heard that you can weld letters together which is something I really have been wanting to do..and for $35 with free shipping...I thought it was a pretty good deal even if that is all I do with it. So after my first fabulous purchase....I did some more sniffing....and found the Lyrical Letters cartridge for my Cricut up for bid as well with 30 some seconds left with a bid at $40..so I put one in for $45 and won that too!!! I'm so excited to use my fabulous new purchases! I hope the sellers ship them asap!!!

New Stuff everywhere!

So I know I haven't written in awhile...but I have an excuse!! I've been working like 45-55 hours a week! Mainly because I finally got my own site!!! Yep, I am the new property manager of Griffin Court apartments. I have 13 buildings in Moorhead,MN. Pretty pumped. But I came into this site at the worst possible time..I had no cleaners, my one leasing agent was leaving in a week, my closest boss got canned (though I'm quite happy about that one) and I came in at the busiest week of the year for our business...but after some swearing, tears, and drinks...I did make it through. Things are going well, looks like I'll be getting Gold for my first month!

I've been scrapbooking a lot too...I've made a few cards, started working on Anthony's Love book for his B-day, started working on Amber's wedding book, and I have been keeping up with my 2009 book as well. Quite proud of myself.

So...I have decided...I'm fat...at least that is what my Wii Fit tells me...sooo...I have joined a gym...and am proud to say I have gotten up two mornings in a row at 5 am to go work out. I have also made a huge step..and when my boyfriend wanted to go to McDonalds last night..I went..and ordered a salad!! woop woop. Anyway, I have decided that I need to start writing down what I take in food wise...so here it goes.

So alot has changed since I last written on here...first of all I got a promotion and am now a property manager in training...though I still haven't had any training...it's more like property manager in filling in other people's shoes while they get to go on warm sunny vacations and leave you in charge not knowing what to do...but I like it alot and it's a really nice change of pace which I needed. So far I have been at 2 different offices and I should be going to a 3rd in about 2 weeks.
I also have done some changes in my apartment. I am in the middle of decorating my spare bedroom. I'm making it into a scrapbook/library room. So far I have painted 2 walls pink and got a black corner desk and put up some cute black/white photos. I still need to get this cute black and grey speckled rug from target and a black slip cover for the couch from target and order the cute zebra chair from walmart.com...then the room will be complete...once I get it done I will post some pics dont' worry. I just think it will be nice not having to drag all my scrapbook crap to my living room...though I don't have a tv in the spare room..and I haven't decided if I want to put one in there or just put a small stereo...I'll have to figure something out..I could always just use my computer and put in a movie or something..who knows.
So I have the vacation bug because it seems everyone else is going on vacation... I really want to go to Vegas. Anthony and I were thinking about going but it doesn't sound like we can until October cuz we don't want to go there in the summer. But this summer I would like to go either up to the Northshore for a few days or go to Mount Rushmore cuz sadly I've never been there..I think we could afford to do that so I'm excited for something a little different anyway...Fargo isn't bad in the summer but it's getting kinda old...

My first hockey game!

So my company has a box at the Fargo Force hockey arena and we got some spare tickets at our office to go check it out. I've never been in a box at a sports game before...could be cool. I've also haven't been to a hockey game in like 10 years...so this should be interesting too. Anthony is coming with, which is exciting, and James and whoever he can find and hopefully Bridget. Then tomorrow night we are going to the Legion for one of our fun drunken nights (Laura and Sara). Everytime I go there I end up feeling quite well. And James said he'd come pick me up...so we got a win win situation here!!! So Anthony and I decided to just go out to a nice dinner for our anniversary instead of spending alot of money since it's right before Christmas...probably a good idea. Anyway...that's all I got...tootles!!

Waiting sucks

So my boyfriend is sick...and I totally made him make out with me last night so I could get sick too...so I didn't have to work...It's pretty bad when I would rather be home coughing, stuffed up, or puking then be at work..However, it hasn't stuck yet and I still feel fine. My company also gave out free flu shots today so i got one of those babies...but all I got was a sore arm. I think this weekend my girls and I are gonna have a little painting wine party. Maybe paint some art...drink some wine...and watch some movies...sounds chill. Last Saturday was just too much...hahah. Anyway, I finished decorating my apartment! P.S. I put this tree up at 3am on Saturday night because at the time i thought it was a great idea..haha It's gorgeous, I'm posting a pic so ya can see it. Tootles

My little village

Anthony and I had a great date last night. We watched Greys together (kinda boring p.s.) and then we went to Bennigans and had a tasty supper and then we went across the street to Wal-Mart. I found a super cute plush penguin with a little blue scarf and hat that Anthony bought me...although I'm not sure how keen he was on it when he came to bed after I did and found Mr. Penguin in his spot...but he'll just have to get over that. haha. Also while we were there I noticed that Wal-Mart has followed in Hallmark's footsteps and made their own line of a christmas village. They had some cute stuff. There was the normal crap(churches and schools), but they also had this little penguin church and some cute lamp posts that light up and even a replica wal-mart...tooshay! (sp?) So...since I got paid today, and it was a pretty good one, I'm going after work to purchase a few parts for my christmas village. I'm gonna turn my kitchen bar counter into a Winter Wonderland, complete with fake snow, lighted lamposts, trees, and whatever else I can find today. Oh, and I'm gonna go get this 3D penguin and snowman that light up for my patio too that I've had my eye on for the past week. Super pumped!!! Hugs and Kisses ya'll

Babies...yuck

So....NEWSFLASH! My friend, who has been married for 2 months, let me know today that she is PREGNANT! She is in Kansas with no job, a husband who's in the military and no money and they are having a child....and the thing she was most worried about was the weight she was going to gain! If it was me I'd be more upset about the whole baby shooting out of me thing and the no money to pay for the baby that will be shooting out of me thing..but maybe that's just me. So anyway...I feel like we have nothing in common anymore...here is the girl that I went to high school with, went to college with, lived with for 2 years, cried on the shoulder on, and got drunk with many many times....and I don't even know here anymore. I feel like I lost my friend....and I don't know what to do about it. Not that I can do anything about it...I'm not much for kids, especially ones that are in diapers. So...here I am...not married, with a job, no kid, and in North Dakota...and you know what...I'm okay with that.

Griswald kinda Christmas

So...my favorite xmas movie is Christmas Vacation, because it's hilarious. So I was thinking this year that though I don't have a house...I do have an apartment balcony and 4 windows...therefore I believe I'm gonna have a Griswald kinda Christmas...a.k.a I'm going to try and put enough lights on my balcony that I keep my neighbors up at night because of the brightness..hahaha. I think it's genius!!! So...now I just have to get some lights...and Anthony on board so he can put them up..cuz it could be a lot of work and I'm not really up for that. I also found a small snowman and penguin that light up that are definitely going to have to go out there too...it's gonna be fabulous!

Hello,

So my girlfriend Susie and I were talking on Saturday while we were at bingo at Vics (p.s. super fun, though I suck) and we realized that we are both members of the Y, so I made the suggestion of going together. However, she text me this morning and she wants to go to BodyPump tomorrow night...I've never done group fitness before, besides elementary school gym class! I'm scared! Plus Susie is like a size 2 and works out a few times a week...so I feel that I am going to be behind. I've always wanted to do like yoga and stuff, but I looked at the Y's schedule and yoga class is always at like 10 am...which of course I can't go to. They always have bodypump, kick boxing (could be fun), or cardio classes at the times I can go to. Pray for me.
P.S. Anthony and I are going to go to Wall-E again at the cheap seats tonight. Super pumped! Love that movie, and love it even more when it only costs a buck! TTYL

Boredom at it's finest

So I'm laying on my couch wishing I had food and it wasn't so damn cold out. I'm also noticing the two lumps on my balcony that used to be pumpkins...really should get rid of those....I also wish that SOMEONE, not adding any names, had taken out the garbage like HE promised!...but whatev...P.S. I love the Bravo TV Network. It's amazing! How can you go wrong with hairstylist shows, fashion shows, design shows, cooking shows, and old good movies all mixed into one. I don't see how anyone could not like this station. I would love if someone dyed my hair right now...and cut it...and washed it...and curled it...aka I'm lazy today. Any Takers?? so I'm gonna add a picture today...not sure what yet...let me look.

So this is my boyfriend...isn't he cute?! He was a little crabby this morning...but I'll forgive him. Do we look good together? I think we are cute...Love you baby.

So, after some prodding from Bridget, I decided to do one of these things. I did have one many years ago on xanga.com, but I kinda lost track of that...so we will see how far I make it on this one. I'm currently sitting at work, not doing a whole hell of a lot. I am planning on going to Bella's on my lunch break...not sure how good of an idea that is going to be but I have a hard time resisiting. I really think that store needs to get a credit card...then I'd have some fun! So I really wanna hang up my xmas decorations and our xmas tree...however, Anthony says that it is too early....boo. So how early is too early for decorations? I think anytime in November is okay, but I've been told that you have to wait until after Thanksgiving...thoughts?
